Goodfynd was founded in 2018 by three friends from Virginia Tech — Sofiat Abdulrazaaq, Lemaire Stewart, and Kyle Miller — who shared a passion for street food and a deep appreciation for its cultural significance and entrepreneurial opportunity. When they realized how difficult it was to find and support food trucks they loved, they also saw a massive gap in technology and support for mobile vendors.

That frustration sparked the creation of Goodfynd: a purpose-driven, impact-first platform focused on helping food truck owners — many of whom are immigrants and people of color — overcome operational challenges, increase visibility, and unlock financial opportunity.

Our first fintech product launched in January 2020 — just before the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically shifted the food landscape. As food trucks surged in popularity during this period, Goodfynd proved instrumental in helping mobile vendors adapt, grow, and thrive.

Does Goodfynd charge transaction fees?

We offer options with low to zero transaction fees. When set to 0% fee option, the customer is responsible for paying most fees. Flat fees for tap-to-pay or manually entered credit card transactions may apply, as do nominal fees on after-total price add-ons, such as tips.

Do I need special hardware to use Goodfynd's POS?

Goodfynd works with compact, mobile-friendly hardware that fits perfectly in any food truck setup. Our system is designed to be flexible, allowing you to process payments quickly whether you're at a festival or a street corner.
